Can allicin treat Helicobacter pylori?

Current treatment for Helicobacter pylori typically involves a combination of medications, such as proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole or rabeprazole to reduce stomach acid, along with bismuth preparations like potassium bismuth citrate, and two antibiotics. Common antibiotics used in this treatment include amoxicillin and clarithromycin. With this combination therapy, Helicobacter pylori infections can be eradicated.
